Matt Manson
CEO, President and Director
Matt Manson has over 17 years of experience in diamond exploration, development and production. He was appointed President of Stornoway in March 2007 following the acquisition of Ashton Mining of Canada and Contact Diamond Corporation, and subsequently President & CEO in January 2009. Between 1999 and 2005 he was employed by Aber Diamond Corporation (now Harry Winston Diamond Corporation) as VP Marketing and subsequently VP Technical Services & Control, during which time he participated in the US$230m project financing for the Diavik Diamond Project and oversaw Aber's technical and marketing operations. Patrick Godin
COO and Director 
Mr. Patrick Godin joined Stornoway Diamond Corporation in May 2010 as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President. Stornoway is Canada's premier growth oriented diamond exploration and development company focussed on world-class diamond mining opportunities such as the Renard Project, located in north-central Quebec. As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Godin is directly responsible for the development of the Feasibility-stage of the Renard Diamond Project, on track to becoming Quebec’s first diamond mine.
Prior to joining Stornoway Diamond, Mr. Godin acted as Vice President, Project Development for GMining Services, focused on the development of mining projects in the Americas and West Africa. Previous to that time he acted as Vice President of Operations for Canadian Royalties,
heading the development of their nickel project in Northern Québec. He was also President and General Manager of CBJ-CAIMAN S.A.S., a French subsidiary of Cambior / IAMGOLD, holder of the Camp Caïman gold mining project located in French Guiana. He spent many years with Cambior’s various Canadian properties in Abitibi-Témiscamingue; through progressive management positions, he lead a gold extraction operation and contributed greatly to the implementation of Cambior’s sustainability program.
Mr. Godin holds a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from Université Laval in Québec. Mr. Godin is a member of the “Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec”, of the Certified Directors College and of The Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM). Zara Boldt
CFO, Vice-President, Finance
Zara Boldt has held progressive positions with several mineral exploration companies, in addition to working for a national brokerage firm for several years. Her most recent resource industry roles include CFO for Sherwood Copper Corporation from May 2006 to May 2007 and Controller for the Northair Group of Companies between May 2004 and April 2007. Ms. Boldt is a Certified General Accountant and a graduate of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. Beyond her role at Stornoway, Ms. Boldt currently serves as a Corporate Secretary for Strongbow Exploration Inc. and is a Director of Troon Ventures Ltd. Click on image to download print version
Robin Hopkins
Vice-President, Exploration
Robin Hopkins, P.Geol. (NT/NU), has held this position since January 2006 and was Chief Technical Officer for the predecessor company, Stornoway Ventures Ltd., since 2003. Mr. Hopkins was Vice-President, Exploration, for Navigator Exploration Corporation between 2000 and 2004, and prior to that a key member of the Aber Resources Ltd. exploration team that discovered the Diavik Diamond Project pipes in the Northwest Territories in 1994. With more than 20 years exploration experience throughout Canada, Greenland and southern Africa since graduating from the University of Waterloo (HBASc, Earth Sciences), Mr. Hopkins is a Qualified Person under NI 43-101, and the Company's diamond exploration programs are conducted under his direction. Dave Skelton
Vice-President, Project Development
Mr. Skelton was appointed Vice President, Project Development with Stornoway Diamond Corporation in January 2009. Mr. Skelton has more than 25 years of experience as a geologist, including 19 years in diamond exploration and advanced evaluation. Prior to his appointment with Stornoway, Mr. Skelton held various positions between 1993 and 2006 with Stornoway’s predecessor company Ashton Mining of Canada Inc. During his tenure with Ashton, Mr Skelton managed a number of successful diamond exploration programs in the NWT, Alberta and Quebec. Exploration efforts in Alberta resulted in the discovery of 36 kimberlites in a new kimberlite province and advanced surface and underground bulk sample programs on the Renard Project in Quebec led to the completion of a positive Feasibility Study in 2011. Mr. Skelton received a bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Western Ontario (1987) and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA), the Ordre des Géologues du Québec (OGQ), and the Canadian Institute of Mining Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM). Ghislain Poirier
Vice-President, Public Affairs
Ghislain Poirier is a geological engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the mining exploration industry. He is a graduate of Université Laval in 1984 and he obtained a masters degree in economic geology from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in 1987. From 1988 to 1991, he acted as a consultant for several junior companies and from 1991 to 2005 he was employed by SOQUEM, a Quebec mineral exploration crown corporation. During this period he was involved in the discovery of the Renard diamond deposit as the joint venture partner of Ashton Mining of Canada inc. Before joining Stornoway he acted as Manager Environment and Public Affairs for Ashton. He occupied the same position for Stornoway from 2007 to 2010. In March 2011 he was promoted to Vice-president Public Affairs for Stornoway. He is member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) and he has been a board member of the Association de l'Exploration Minière du Québec (AEMQ) for 10 years. In January 2009, he was appointed president of the AEMQ for a 2 year mandate which was subsequently renewed for an additional year. Mr. Poirier also sits on the Board of Minalliance. Ebe Scherkus,
Chairman of the Board

Mr. Scherkus served as the President and Chief Operating Officer and a director of Agnico-Eagle from 2005 to February 2012. Prior to his appointment as President and Chief Operating Officer in December 2005, Mr. Scherkus served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer from 1998 to 2005, as Vice-President, Operations from 1996 to 1998, as a manager of Agnico Eagle LaRonde Division from 1986 to 1996 and as a project manager from 1985 to 1986. Mr. Scherkus is a graduate of McGill University (B.Sc.), a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and past president of the Quebec Mining Association.
Michel Blouin,
Director
Michel Blouin is a partner at Lavery, one of Quebec's leading law firms, with many years of experience specializing in securities law for the mining sector. The 2010 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada directory recognizes M. Blouin as one of Canada's best lawyers in Natural Resources Law. M. Blouin is the Honorary Consul of Denmark for Quebec, and a Director and Special Secretary-Treasurer of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
Yves Harvey,
Director
Yves Harvey obtained a Ph.D. in economic geology from Université Laval, Quebec, in 1984. He also holds a Master's degree in geological engineering, which he obtained from Ecole Polytechnique, Montreal, in 1975. He joined SOQUEM in 1978 as senior geologist, exploration. He left SOQUEM in 1984 to work for Roche ltée, Groupe-Conseil until 1989, after which he returned to SOQUEM as executive vice-president. He was appointed president and executive director of SOQUEM in 1991 and served in this capacity until 2006.
He is currently executive director of COREM, the Quebec City based minerals industry research laboratory, a collaborative industry/government consortium. Mr. Harvey is a member of the Ordre des Ingenieurs du Quebec, the Association des Prospecteurs du Quebec, the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada; and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum ("CIM"), of which he served as President in 1998-99. In 1994, Mr. Harvey received the Past President's Memorial Medal from CIM in recognition of his contributions to the Canadian mining industry. In 1995, CIM awarded Mr. Harvey Quebec's District Medal and, in 1996, the District #2 Medal. Mr. Harvey received the CIM Distinguished Service Medal in 2001.

John LeBoutillier,
Director
John LeBoutillier is the Chairman of the board of directors of Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc., Canada's fourth largest life and health insurance company, and a respected senior figure in the Quebec mining industry. Between 1983 and 1996 he served as President & CEO of Sidbec-Dosco (now ArcelorMittal Montreal Inc.), and between 1996 and 2000 as President & CEO of the Iron Ore Company of Canada. M. LeBoutillier also serves on the boards of Mazarin Inc. and Semafo Inc. and is the Chairman of the board of directors of Groupe Deschenes Inc. In 2000, he was a member of the Quebec Commission of Inquiry into Health and Social Services (the Clair Commission) and, in 2001, a member of the Canadian Democracy and Corporate Accountability Commission (the Bennett/Broadbent Commission). M. LeBoutillier served as a member of the board of directors of the Societe generale de financement du Quebec between 1996 and 2010, and is a recipient of the Order of Canada.
Monique Mercier,
Director
Monique Mercier is the Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President, Legal, with Telus Communications Inc. She has held a number of senior positions in the fields of securities and corporate law, human resources and corporate governance in the information technology, health and telecom sectors since 1989, including with BCE Inc., Bell Canada International Inc. and Emergis Inc. Amongst many industry and corporate board appointments, Mme Mercier has served as a member of the board of directors of the Société générale de financement du Québec (2006-2010) and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Canadian General Counsel.
Peter Nixon,
Director
Mr. Nixon brings to the Stornoway board over 30 years of experience in research and institutional equity sales, largely focused on the mining industry. In 1989, Mr. Nixon helped to found Goepel Shields & Partners where the primary focus was to assist in the creation and building of a new independent investment firm specializing in the provision of investment advice to institutional investors as well as raising capital for companies in the natural resource industries in Canada. As an independent member of Stornoway's board of Directors, Mr. Nixon brings strength in corporate governance and environmental stewardship.

Serge Vézina,
Director
Dr. Vézina is a consultant and engineer with over 40 years experience in the mining industry. Between 1988 and June 2006, he was employed by Cambior Inc., most recently as Vice President of Industrial Engineering and Environment. Mr. Vézina is a member of the Order of Engineers of Québec, a former chairman of the board of the Québec Mining Association, a former chairman of the board of COREM, and a member of numerous advisory panels and professional bodies within the Québec Mining Industry. Dr. Vézina is currently an adjunct professor at McGill University in Montreal and Laval University in Québec City, and a director of Osisko Mining Corporation. He is a graduate of Laval University (B.Sc. in Mining, 1966 and Ph.D. in Metallurgical Sciences, 1972).
