Stornoway Graduates to TSX Wilcox Group to Provide Media Relations

10/13/2004
Stornoway Diamond Corporation (TSXV-SWY) is pleased to announce that as of Thursday, October 14, 2004 its securities will commence trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). Concurrent with Stornoway's graduation to the TSX, its securities will no longer trade on the TSX Venture Exchange. The trading symbol will remain unchanged.

Stornoway's graduation to the TSX is a reflection of its early success in exploring for and discovering diamondiferous kimberlites in Canada's Arctic. With interests in more than 23 million acres of prospective diamond properties, Stornoway Diamond Corporation holds more land in the north than any other Canadian owned diamond explorer. Stornoway is a well-funded Canadian diamond exploration company with an aggressive acquisition, exploration and development philosophy.

In addition Stornoway has named Wilcox Group, one of Canada's largest national independent public relations firms, as its agency of record.
