Stornoway Diamond Corporation ("Stornoway") announces that the Supreme Court of British Columbia today dismissed the petition of Matthew S. Bingham, a shareholder of Ashton Mining of Canada Inc. ("Ashton"), which petition sought to set aside the amalgamation of Ashton and a wholly owned subsidiary of Stornoway that the shareholders of Ashton approved on January 15, 2007.
